Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles into various points on the body to help with pain relief, most commonly musculoskeletal pain. The practice of acupuncture has been utilized by various cultures for over two thousand years.

 

What is involved in a typical visit?

Acupuncture sessions typically last 20 -30 minutes with a common treatment plan consisting of two times a week for 3 to 5 weeks depending on the patient’s health history and chronic nature of complaint. All needles used are single-use and stainless steel and the skin is cleaned and sterilized with alcohol before each treatment.

Low back Pain, Sciatica, Sprains/strains, Facet Syndrome, Rotator cuff pathology, Hip and knee osteoarthritis.
